There are many other examples for topics, such as protection of minority rights – tribal, indigenous, ethnic, racial, religious, national status and immigration, refugee, dis-ability, trauma -, religious majorities and secularism, electoral processes and fair representation, and the overall viability of current neoliberal, capitalist democracies to promote development, alleviate poverty, and distribute wealth and resources in light of past systemic oppressions, for example the legacy of slavery and institutional and societal racism here in the U.S.
